✱ How to use ChangePilot flow templates.
For commonly requested automations, cloud flow templates are available. Follow these instructions to deploy using the template file linked against each flow.
Flow templates are deployed via importing unmanaged solutions containing the flow and any new components. Unmanaged solutions allow customisation whilst not impacting the managed solution maintained by our development team. For more information about managed and unmanaged solutions, see this article.
Importing flow templates
- Download the desired flow template .zip file. See the table at the foot at this article for available flow templates and relevant articles, where you will find download links.

Import solution:

Navigate to make.powerapps.com ensuring you are in your ChangePilot envrinoment. Select ‘Solutions’ and view your environment's unmanaged layer.
- Import the .zip file as a new solution in the unmanaged layer of the envrionment.

- Click on the new solution's name/code to list components within the new solution. Make a note of all components within the solution.

Add components to the ‘Configuration’ solution:

Navigate back to the unmanaged layer (click 'back to solutions’ in the top left of the pane) and open your 'Configuration' solution. If you don't have a 'Configuration' solution, see this article to create it.
- In the Configuration solution, click 'Add existing' and search for all the components you noted down from the imported template. Note: some components may already be there from previous imports e.g. 'Teams CR Connection Reference'.

4. Go back to the all solutions view and delete the imported solution.
The imported components will remain within the environment and Configuration solution. You can now open the imported flow from the Customisation soltion and customise as required as per the instructions in each flow's article. These steps assume a basic understanding of Power Automate.
