Flow Template 002: Send notification message when new ChangePilot action created

Import and configure a flow template to send a notification message to a user if they are assigned an action in the ChangePilot App.

The ChangePilot App allows 'actions' to be created against any Message Center item. These are notified in the ChangePilot App, and new actions appear to assigned users in the 'My Actions' tab.

Using this flow template, it is possible to trigger an email and/or Microsoft Teams message to the assigned user when a new action is created.

Please note this only applies when the action asignee is an individual user, not a team.

Users still receive a weekly email containing a summary of all their assigned items.

Flow information

  • Title: Send notification message when new Action created
  • Description: When a new action is created, the action asignee will receive a Teams message or email alerting them to the new action, and prompting them to open the ChangePilot App.
  • New Connection/s Used: Microsoft Teams

Configuring the flow post-import

  1. Teams Connection - configure the Teams CR (connection reference) during solution import.
  2. Email Action - Edit the message if required.
  3. Teams Action - Edit the message if required.
  4. Delete either action if not required.

Remember to save your new flow after any changes.
