How do I create a custom tag in the ChangePilot App?

Add to the default list of tags in the ChangePilot App. Custom tags can be used for marking and filtering items or can be used to trigger and automation or cloud flow.

Before you start: If you do not have a solution called 'Customisation' in the unmanaged layer of the ChangePilot environment, please follow the steps in this article.

  1. First, check you have 'Tag Options' as a Choice row in the 'Customisation' solution in the unmanaged layer of the ChangePilot environment. If no, continue to step 2. If yes, skip to step 4.

  2. Within the 'Configuration' solution in the unmanaged layer of your ChangePilot environment, click 'Add existing'.

  3. Select More > Choice. Find Tag options. Click Add.

  4. Click on the 'Tag options' solution, scroll past the existing options until you see '+ New choice'. Add your new option and note down the value - the numerical value to the right of your new text option.
