How do I increase the data row limit for the ChangePilot App (Power App)?

Increase the item/data row limit of your ChangePilot App to ensure it continues to show all items form your SharePoint List.

By default, the ChangePilot App has a limit to the amount of data rows from a SharePoint List it can process. This limit is 1,000 data rows - 1,000 Message Center items.

Follow the steps below to increase your ChangePilot App's item limit:

  1. Navigate to make.powerapps.com then locate, and click on the ChangePilot App Power App.
  2. Select the Settings cog in the bottom left of the editor screen.
  3. Scroll down until you see 'Data row limit' setting. Change this value to 2,000. After making the change, select 'Close'.
  4. Now hit the 'Save' icon, followed by the publish icon on the tool bar.

If you start to notice items missing from the ChangePilot App, check your SharePoint List for the number of data rows/items it contains.

We are working on a solution that will enable the ability to archive historic Message Center items to a separate SharePoint List and negate the need to perpetually increase the App's item limit.
