M365 Change Health Score

Your organisation's Change Health Score, why it's at its current level, and the items to deal with to raise it.

The M365 Change Health Score page shows how well your organisation is reviewing and actioning the Message Center items that matter most. It gives your current Change Health Score out of 100, explains it, shows how it has changed, and lists the items to deal with to improve it. How the score is worked out is explained in About the ChangePilot Change Health Score.

To open it, select M365 Change Health Score under Dashboards & Reports in the ChangePilot App's left-hand menu.

Which items count

The score covers items that are essential (High admin or user impact, or the category Plan for change or Prevent or fix) or assigned (owned by a person rather than a team). Of those:

Figure What it counts
Imminent Items with a Standard Start in the next 30 days.
Unmanaged Imminent items still at the status New.
Missed Items that expired in the last 60 days.

Your Health Score

A dial with your score, from today's data, and its band:

Band Score
Good 75 or more
Medium 50 to 74
Poor Below 50

Beside it, Why your score is … explains the result, and How to improve your score says what would raise it. The imminent, unmanaged and missed figures behind the score are shown underneath.

Score over time

ChangePilot records your organisation's score every hour. This chart shows the last record of each day against the Good, Medium and Poor bands, with a second chart of the imminent, unmanaged and missed figures. Choose Last 30 days or Last 90 days, and hover over a point to see that day's figures.

Contributing Product Areas

A bar for each product category with items lowering the score: items still New and starting in the next 30 days, or missed in the last 60 days. Each bar shows the category's Service Owner. Select a bar to list that category's items below.

Items needing attention

The items that How to improve your score refers to, with the MCID, title, product category, status, owner, Standard Start and the reason:

  • Missed;
  • Due within 7 days;
  • Still New;
  • No named owner.

Missed items are left out unless you switch on Include Missed Items. When it's on, missed items with a Standard Start in the last 60 days are listed first. The score counts every item that expired in the last 60 days, so it can include more missed items than the list.

Ten items are visible at a time; scroll inside the list to see the rest. Select an MCID to open the item. Show all categories clears a category chosen above.

Good to know

  • The page shows the items you have access to in ChangePilot.
  • The date an item expired comes from its audit history. If you can't read audit history, it's estimated as 30 days after its Standard End.
  • Service Owners come from your ChangePilot service owner settings. A category with none shows No service owner.
  • Figures are worked out when the page opens. If items have been updated since, select Refresh.
  • Your company logo comes from the Company Logo setting. See Landing Page for how to set it.
