Product Insights
One view of the Message Center items and roadmap for the products you choose, with high-impact changes a click away.
The Product Insights page brings together everything for the products you care about: which items are open, what's starting soon, how they spread across services and months, and what's coming on the Microsoft 365 roadmap.
To open it, select Product Insights under Dashboards & Reports in the ChangePilot App's left-hand menu.
Filters
| Filter | What it does |
|---|---|
| Product Category | Choose one or more categories, or leave it empty for all of them. Each category shows its number of open items. |
| Impact | All items, High admin impact, High user impact, or High admin or user. |
| Show closed items | Switch on to look at closed items instead of open ones. |
The filters apply to the whole page, and ChangePilot remembers them while you move around the app. The roadmap follows Product Category only.
Item totals
Dials for the items that match your filters:
- Open items (or Closed items when Show closed items is on);
- for open items, each status: New, To Discuss, In Review (and No status, if any items have none), and At Risk: open items starting in the next 7 days;
- High admin impact and High user impact (only the one that applies when you filter to a single impact).
Select a dial to list its items below, and select it again to show them all.
Items
The items that match your filters and the dial, service or month you've selected, grouped by deployment:
- Upcoming, soonest first;
- Already started;
- No start date.
Each row shows the MCID, title, owner, product category, primary service, status, admin and user impact, and Standard Start, with any Highlighted, Top 5 Weekly or Top 5 Monthly tag. Switch on Starting in the next 30 days to see only what's about to start. Show all clears a selection. Ten items are visible at a time; scroll inside the list to see the rest, and select an MCID to open the item.
Items by primary service
A table with the number of items, high admin impact items and high user impact items for each primary service, such as Teams or Exchange Online. Select a count to list those items.
Items by month
A chart of items per month for one year. Choose By Standard start or By month added, and use the arrows to move between years. Select a month to list its items; the dashed line marks this month.
Upcoming roadmap
Microsoft 365 roadmap items for your chosen product categories that roll out after today, earliest first, with the roadmap ID, title and rollout start.
Good to know
- The page shows the items you have access to in ChangePilot.
- Figures are worked out when the page opens. If items have been updated since, select Refresh.
- Your company logo comes from the Company Logo setting. See Landing Page for how to set it.
