Getting Started

To begin your trial:

1. Create an Account: Head over to the ChangePilot Portal and sign up to create your free account. Accounts must be created using a valid organisational email address. Consumer email addresses are not permitted.

2. Activate Your Account: Once you create your account and enter your personal details, you will be sent an email to the address provided to verify your account. 

3. Welcome Configuration: Once verified, your account will grant you access to all trial features immediately. On your first visit you will be prompted to connect your tenant (although you can save this step for later) and choose the Microsoft products and services you want to receive ChangePilot email alerts for.
4. Weekly Tips & Tricks: Throughout your trial, you will periodically receive emails from the ChangePilot Team including tips to make the most out of your trial. Need to speak to one of the team? You can reach us at hello@changepilot.cloud.

ChangePilot Emails: Alerts for Microsoft 365 Changes

During the trial you will receive configurable email alerts. Here's what to expect:

• Comprehensive Updates: Receive emails featuring the ChangePilot summaries for items from both the Microsoft 365 Message Center and the Microsoft 365 Roadmap.

• Flexible Delivery Options: You decide how often you receive updates - choose either a weekly or a monthly email frequency to suit your schedule. For the 6-week trial, we strongly recommend receiving your emails weekly.

• Customisable Content: Tailor the information and types of items included in each email based on your role by choosing the service categories you want to see items for.

• Impact Level Configuration: By default, your emails include medium and high impact change items across both user and admin impact for the service categories chosen as part of the account set up. You can further adjust the settings in the ChangePilot Portal to also include low impact items if needed. 

Tenant‑Specific Insights in the ChangePilot Portal

• Read‑Only Tenant Connection: For a more personalised experience, the trial allows you to connect your ChangePilot account to your organisation’s Microsoft 365 tenant. Integrate your tenant via a secure, read‑only access method so that the portal feed becomes specific to your organisation’s Microsoft 365 changes. Once connected, your weekly or monthly emails will automatically reflect tenant‑specific information.
  
  Note: When one user connects their tenant, every verified user sharing the same email domain within your organisation will automatically receive the tenant-specific feed on the ChangePilot Portal.

• Enhanced Change Reports: Access multiple tables and reports for both the Message Center and Roadmap. These reports enable you to assess upcoming changes, updates, and new features that are most relevant to your environment.

Monthly Microsoft MVP‑Led Change Call

Shortly after creating your account in the ChangePilot Portal, you will receive a diary invite to the monthly Change Call:

• Live Expert Session: Attend a two‑hour session led by a Microsoft MVP, where every change* published that month is discussed. Gain expert insights into how each change may affect Microsoft 365 environments.

• On‑Demand Video Access: Can’t join the live session? Don’t worry - the Change Call is recorded and made available on‑demand. Each video is chapter‑marked for every MCID discussed, and dedicated pages provide further details and snippets for every change item.
