What's Changed

The Message Center posts Microsoft has changed since publishing them: dates moved and posts rewritten, so you can check your plans.

Microsoft often updates Message Center posts after publishing them: rollout dates slip or are brought forward, and posts are rewritten. The What's Changed page shows those changes, so you can check again any plans built on the old dates, and any items you've already reviewed.

To open it, select What's Changed under Dashboards & Reports in the ChangePilot App's left-hand menu.

Filters

Filter What it does
Product Category Choose one or more categories, or leave it empty for all of them. Each category shows its number of changes.
Timeframe Changes in the Last 7 days, Last 30 days or Last 60 days.
Show All changes, or only Start date moved, End date moved or Post updated.

ChangePilot remembers your filters while you move around the app.

Counters across the top

Counter What it counts
Start dates delayed Items whose Standard Start moved later.
Start dates brought forward Items whose Standard Start moved earlier.
End dates moved Items whose Standard End changed.
Posts updated Items whose title or description was rewritten.
Already reviewed: check again Changes to items that are no longer New, so they may need another look.

Select a counter to list just its changes in the table below; the selected counter is outlined. Select it again, or Show all changes, to go back to everything. Choosing a Show button also clears it.

The list of changes

One row per item and kind of change in the timeframe, most recent first. Each row shows the MCID, title, product category, the kind of change, what moved, the item's status, and when it changed.

  • For a date, What moved shows the old and new dates and how many days later or earlier it is. If a date changed more than once, it shows the first old date and the latest new one.
  • Items that are no longer New are marked Reviewed: check again.
  • Ten rows are visible at a time; scroll inside the list to see the rest. Select an MCID to open the item.
